


A note about food and healthy eating: I make every effort to buy locally sourced, humanely raised, organic foods and believe that it is imperative to feed your body the best that you can. In our house, we don’t diet, but we do focus on eating well. What works for us is minimal sugar and cholesterol, high fiber and no processed foods. We eat gluten, in small quantities. We eat whole grains in large quantities. We snack. Every once in a while we eat some animal protein. We also splurge sometimes…on REAL food. Most of my recipes can easily be made vegan. I recommend products we like that keep the cholesterol down and limit animal sources and are real, organic alternatives. I don’t excel at measuring. Feel free to make adjustments to your taste. Most of all, I hope you find something here delicious!
